It’s been a while since the last I wrote but life seems to have gotten away from me. In an attempt to get out among the living, I began to volunteer some of my time to the YWCA, and being with the kindergarten class there has added a new dimension to my days. After spending twelve years teaching that age group, I missed the playfulness and energy they offer. I’ve also started working with a personal trainer and am feeling stronger and more in tune with my body.
I’ve also been working tirelessly on the last two books of the Fire and Ice series. The first draft of Tendrils of Ice is finished and I’m almost a third of the way through Rekindling the Fire. It’s been interesting to develop the founding partners of the Woodley and Fisher law firm. They were secondary characters for the fist four books and as I’ve gotten to know them through their own stories, I’ve found them much deeper and more complex than I’d originally thought.
My editor has Heart of Ice and will begin work on that this coming Tuesday. I’m hoping to have the whole series out by the end of the year.
On Monday, tomorrow, I’ll be publishing Heart on Fire on Kindle and I hope you take a look, and buy if it looks interesting.
I’ll also be offering a free print copy of the book to one of the visitors to my site. If you’d like a chance at the raffle, all you have to do is sign up through the contact page.
Wishing all a great Sunday.
