Camille rang the doorbell. And waited. She knew he was here. When she’d called Alec to tell him she was going over, he said he appreciated the early-morning detour, that Maks would be on FBI time every afternoon.
She must have startled him awake, because he was rubbing an eye when he peeked through the thick curtains that covered the window. Apparently, he was still half-asleep. He let her in without thought or grumble.
She rushed through the door as soon as he opened it. And stared. His chest was covered in nothing but swirls of dark hair, his jeans unsnapped. His feet were bare, and he looked…mouth wateringly good. She caught herself before she gave him a head-to-toe examination, her gaze faltering when she got to the waist band of his pants. The gut check snapped her out of the haze of desire and she shifted her eyes to his.
“Sorry if I woke you. I picked up coffee. I’ve heard Russians like it strong, but I can’t promise anything. I got a Robust but just how robust it is, you’ll have to tell me.”
