Happy Valentine’s Day everyone:
It’s a day made for love and there’s nothing that will get you in the mood faster than a good love story.
With so many out there, how do you choose? Does the cover draw you? Does the book blurb entice? Does the hero’s build, profession, looks, heart, grab at you?
I’ve been researching different covers for my next book and I’m having a hard time choosing. A friend of mine says she likes body shots. (No head) I guess she wants to fill in her own fantasy. I’ve read that the day of abs is over and women want more than a perfect specimen or good looks. And from what it sounds like, there’s a shortage of male models willing to pose for them, anyway. Fabio’s day is over.
So does an author do the couple thing, with the two kissing, or hugging, or staring into each other’s eyes?
A symbol of love, like a heart? That’s what I’ve chosen for my most recent series, Fire and Ice. There’s two on fire, two made of ice.
If you were in the market for a romance novel, which one would you pick? And why?
Wishing everyone a very happy valentine’s day…the one’s with mates and the one’s without. It’s really all about the love anyway…and that’s all around us.
